THE HEIR APPARENT OF NATHDWARA
Chi. Shri Bhupeshkumarji (Vishal Bawa) sahab
PAUSH KRISHNA 30 SAVANT 2037
Chi. Shri Bhupeshkumarji (Vishal) Bawa sahab, the son of Tilakayat Shri Indradamanji Maharaj, was born on Paush Krishna Amavas (5th January, 1981), and is the Paricharak of Shrinathji Mandir, Nathdwara . Chi. Vishal Bawa sahab grew to be a man of unparalleled wisdom and charisma. His love for innovation and technology married his devotion of Shriji, and gave rise to a social media revolution where he has set off on a path to digitise and make Pushti Marg palatable to the generation of today.
He is married to A. S. Aishwarya-Laxmi (Dixita) Bahuji and is blessed with two children — Chi. Hari Vallabhi (Aaradhika) Betiji and Chi. Lal Govindji (Adhiraj) Bawa.
His father’s right hand in every respect, he is his Paricharak (first assistant) in the Nathdwara Temple, as well as the Heir Apparent of Nathdwara. A fair but strict administrator, he is also famously known for his uncompromising adherence to the principles of Aacharyacharan Shri Vallabh and Prabhucharan Shri Gusainji when it comes to Prabhu seva. His father’s guiding hand has shaped him into a man who searches and applies logic to the world he is inheriting, ensuring that the ‘law’ of Pushti is taught to the young as the ‘logic’ of Pushti.
His famous ‘Diwali in Nathdwara’ and ‘Holi in Nathdwara’ videos ushered in a new era in Pushti Sampraday. For the first time ever, he facilitated the sharing of grand festivals with devotees in far flung corers of the world. Ever since, his videos have been instrumental in making devotees a part of every big celebration in Nathdwara and Tilakayat family.
Today, with his interactive social media handles making him approachable to one and all, he is known as GVN or Goswami Vishal Nathdwara to his young devotees.
